Weapon stats suck unfortunately, not too bad when you use enchantments though (depending on the prefix and/or lazyness).

Regarding detail. Doesn't GWEN intend to introduce high-res textures and more shader effects (some developer mentioned it)?

So i pre-ordered guild wars eye of the north. So does this mean that i will get an e-mail from arena net or from the shop that I pre-ordered the game?

I just got the pre-order kit by mail today, I can enter the key, but it doesn't gave me the weapons yet. I ordered it at a Dutch store: Dynabyte.

Contents is not really shocking, just a paper with the key and a CD with a GW installer and some Nightfall movies, which I found a bit odd: why no GW:EN preview movies?

I know how it works cause a friend gave me on when Nightfall arrived but i dont know how you get it, so does the cd key the dvd and stuff come to my home or do i have to go to the post office?

It was almost 24 hours ago they send out mine, so I expect it to be there when I get home in an hour or 3. I did kinda expect there to be people posting screens of the weapons by now.

If there arn't any screens when I get home I'll put them up myself.

you have to goto the store your preordered from and ask for it

Don't really get what you mean, but the kit is made by anet, so what good would it do to go back to the store? It is not like I am complaining or something about the content, but only thing is I found it a bit odd that the Pre-order pack of GW:EN contains a pre-view/promotion video for Nightfall instead of one for GW:EN.

No music tracks? Bah, that was the one thing I wanted the physical copy for.

Guess I'll go ahead and buy from the online store on Friday.

if you ordered the game from a store you need to go back tot he store you ordered from and ask for the prerelease pack...

If you ordered from a store online, they will send (should send) it to you in the post

If you order from the ingame store the prerelease will be auto added to your account

t h i n e eyes b l e e d is the one who had questions about getting his pre-release, meneer123 already got his so has no questions, just comments that it comes with Nightfall movies instead of GWEN videos.

Sounds like there's no reason to get a physical copy.

I am debating what I should do with my money I want 1 character slot (please tell me that GWEN comes with one for 40 bucks you should at least get 1 char slot come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) + GWEN full version + 3x mission bonus pack. What is the best way I should buy these. I really want a boxed version of GWEN but I don't want to waste my money in the store.

Think its been mentioned several times that there will be no new slot, since there wont be any chance to create new characters in GWEN.

Hmmm, I just got home and added the key, but no weapons...
/bonus, /preorder and /bonusitems dont get them.

Maybe they arn't available yet, or there is another command to get them.

Also, the contents are pretty weak. While I recall the last one having a few types of bonus media on it, this one just contains Nightfall trailers, which I find pretty darn weak...
Guess they REALLY want you to buy GWEN trough the online store, cause this is just plain evil...
Right now there hardly is any reason not to buy it from the online store.
Which I won't, unless they add more ways to pay anytime soon...
